Stix Proud!

Welcome to the official Bluewater Ballistix Volleyball Club website.

Banquet Saturday, May 25 @PSDS Wiarton

Our first every banquet will be held on May 25 in Wiarton to celebrate the great accomplishments of our athletes.  The coaches/managers will soon have the tickets for players (they paid for their banquet as part of their fees) and for supporters (parents/guardians).  We have a process for getting the extra tickets as the venue is limited by fire code.  Please see the poster that gives the process and check in with your team for the steps to secure your tickets.  We don't have unlimited tickets so follow the process to get tickets as they are available. Thanks to the volunteer banquet committee that are making this exciting event happen. Stix proud!

Bluewater Ballistix Executive and Inaugural Awards

The Bluewater Ballistix Volleyball Club (BBVC) is a volunteer organization that has blossomed in 2023-24.  The roots go back to the volleyball pioneers of Grey-Bruce who valued the opportunity for athletes to excel in our sport at the highest level.  Check out our Awards structure for the May 25th banquet at PSDS.  You can find it just below entitled  2023-24 Inaugural BBVC Awards.  We know there are many, many people who are contributing to our organization and helping it grow in a sustainable and healthy way.  Whether it is clinic opportunities, Big Bruce training, chances to gather as Club teams or Beach opportunities provided by organizations like KOVA (Kincardine Outdoor Volleyball Association).  All of these opportunities are run by volunteers who give selflessly of their time and resources to provide awesome opportunities for our Student-Athletes.  Stix proud!

Bluewater Ballistix VC Constitution and Bylaws

All organizations need rules and ways to operate.  The Ontario Volleyball Association and Volleyball Canada have been extremely supportive and help clubs like ours create Bylaws and a Constitution that help us operate, and achieve, our organizational goals.  Please take some time to read and consult the BBVC Bylaws and Constitution as we move towards our Annual General meeting on June 15 (being held at PSDS Wiarton from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. )  Together we are building Stix equitable, strong and proud!

Rule of 2

Rule of Two in Sport

The Ontario Volleyball Association and Volleyball Canada have a very clear training process for our staff and all those people associated with Bluewater Ballistix Volleyball.  As a relatively new and expanding club, we have many new members and people who have not been involved in organized rep sport before.  In light of this fact, the executive has prepared the following "Rule of 2" guideline and info sheet for all parents/guardians/athletes to consider.  See snapshot here and full document as an attachment above.  We hope you will spend a little time and review with your athletes to make sure we all have the best possible experience in youth sport possible.  Building Stix proud!
